2Visiting this website

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you open a page, Vercel's servers automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. This is needed to deliver the page and protect it from abuse. Vercel keeps these logs for a short period. See Vercel's privacy policy.

The fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. To do this, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.

To understand how many people visit and which pages they view, we use Vercel Web Analytics. It does not use cookies and does not identify you: visits are counted using an anonymous identifier that is derived from the request, cannot be linked back to you, and is discarded after 24 hours. We see only totals, such as page views, countries, referring websites and device types. See Vercel's analytics privacy notes.

We do not use cookies or advertising pixels on this website.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3Buying the guide

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you buy, Stripe collects your email address, name, billing country and payment details. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never shared with us in full. See Stripe's privacy policy.

We receive from Stripe your name, email address, country, the amount paid and the date of purchase. We use this to:

Legal basis: performing our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legal obligations under tax and accounting law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

How long we keep it: purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require, and then deleted.

4Downloading the guide

After payment, you are taken to a download page hosted on Google Drive. Google processes your IP address when you open it, and, if you are signed in to a Google account, information linked to that account, under Google's privacy policy.

5Emailing us

If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We delete the conversation when it is no longer needed, unless we must keep it for legal reasons, for example when it concerns a purchase.

6Advertising

We advertise this guide on platforms such as Google and Meta. Those ads run on the platforms' own websites under their own privacy policies. This website itself does not currently use their tracking tags or cookies. If we add any, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

7Who else receives your data

Only the service providers named above: Vercel (hosting and visit statistics), Stripe (payments) and Google (fonts and file download). Some of them are based in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, these providers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We never sell or rent your personal data.

8Your rights

You have the right to:

To use any of these rights, reply to your purchase receipt email. We answer within one month.

9Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
